DGFT extends RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) scheme benefits for exports made between April 1 to September 30, 2026.

WHAT IS RoDTEP?

RoDTEP stands for Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products. It refunds embedded central, state, and local duties and taxes on exported goods that are not refunded under any other existing scheme, such as GST refunds or duty drawback. The scheme replaced the earlier MEIS (Merchandise Exports from India Scheme) to make India's export incentives compliant with WTO norms.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR RoDTEP?

- Both manufacturer-exporters and merchant-exporters can claim

HOW TO CLAIM RoDTEP — STEP BY STEP

1. File your shipping bill with the RoDTEP claim declaration
2. A scroll is automatically generated on ICEGATE after shipment
3. The credit amount reflects in your RoDTEP ledger
4. Use the credit to pay future customs duty on imports, or transfer it as per current rules

WHY THIS EXTENSION MATTERS
